What You Will Achieve

Working with Pfizer’s dynamic engineering team, you will play a critical part in managing the maintenance and reliability engineering activities involving the redesign, maintenance, and repair of utilities systems, buildings, and production/non-production equipment.

As a Team leader, you will be involved in leading work teams within your division, including the technical and financial resources of the team. Thanks to your technical skills, you will coach your direct reports on day to day activities. You will be relied on to solve complex problems within your area of expertise.

- Manage multiple projects and ongoing work activities within a work team.

- Prepare department monthly reports, annual expense statements and ensure operational costs are within budget.
- Focus on overseeing defined processes and guiding maintenance colleagues and ensure efficiency and standardization of the maintenance/automation team.
- Organize the Breakdown maintenance, perform the breakdown analysis and implement Corrective Action / Preventative Action.
- Initiate and implement ideas to improve production processes to improve quality, safety and product costs.
- Ensure adequate communication with key stakeholder groups.
- Act as a technical resource during set up, troubleshooting, ensures adequate information transfer to next shift.
- Coordinate with relevant teams to carry out Periodic Performance Verification.
- Ensure a staff training program is in place and verify staff are trained and fully qualified to perform their duties.

The incumbent will lead, guide, develop and supervise a team of E&I Technicians to maintain site-wide equipment, facilities, instrumentation, control, upgrades/repairs and electrical system to achieve high equipment & instrumentation reliability in compliance with cGMP, EHS, Data Integrity and regulatory requirements in a cost effective manner.

The incumbent will be the Front-Line Leaders (FLL) with excellent understanding of cGMP and good data management practices. They should ensure an active daily presence in GMP work area to observe work activities and practices within their role responsibilities.

- Requirements of Maintenance Audit Readiness
- Site Preventive Maintenance Program and Systems.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead, Guide, Develop and supervise a team of E&I Technicians to perform maintenance activities (PM, Calibration, PdM, Troubleshootings, Upgrades and Repairs) according to procedures, good engineering practices and cGMP.
- Perform day-to-day planning and scheduling instrument calibrations and maintenance activities to ensure smooth production and maintaining the Corrective work orders low.
- Develop and maintain E&I Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) by generating procedures for the operation, review procedures, optimize procedures and training of procedures to the E&I team.
- Develop maintenance program to maintain plant assets. Review and modify the PM to improve instrumentation, control and electrical system reliability.
- Lead, coordinate and follow through major equipment repair and troubleshooting.
- Support manager to achieve financial goals or targets by preparing and controlling against approved annual maintenance budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances;initiating corrective actions for instrumentation, control and electrical system maintenance and repairs and technician overtime.
- Support maintenance operations and shutdown activities by working with E&I Team on developing the annual PM plan, setting work priorities; scheduling PM activities, coordinating and resources planning to meet the schedule in cost-effective way.
