Assistant Manager, Nhg Cares

Nested within the Cares Office, the Assistant Manager of NHG Cares supports the management to develop and implement business strategies to achieve the strategic goals and objectives for the overall success of NHG Cares. He/she will also be responsible for all aspects of business operations and technology integrations based on its current platform, with a key focus on the following areas:
- Assist with strategic planning including the integration and transition of any new unit or existing business units as one entity under the ambit of NHG Cares;
- Conduct due diligence, project sizing and scoping, support the financial planning, manpower transitions, systems integration, administering and facilitating all the activities of NHG Cares;
- Work closely with all the key stakeholders to implement the transitions; devise ways to meld the two or more business units as well as handling it in the most effective, efficient and humane manner for all the parties involved;
- Work with Finance, HR and Legal units to effect the necessary changes, translate it into policies and procedures, at the same time maintaining the compliance with all regulatory requirements;
- Work with management and project teams to monitor implementation and ensure outcomes are achieved;
- Prepare reports, presentations, papers and review material to support discussion and decision making to management and other key stakeholders;
- Provide secretariat support to NHG Cares and
- Work closely with vendors of the CRM Digital Transformation, Websites and all key programmes/products developed/used by NHG Cares.
**Major Duties & Responsibilities**
- **Plan and implement successful business strategies to support NHG Cares**:Define, plan and implement successful business strategies to support NHG Cares development, including integration of existing business units and supporting the development of the new business units.
- **Determining success**:Defining what success look like for NHG Care by establishing the process/ outcomes indicators (including(i) future ready for capitation funding and new payment models (ii) a complete business integration of all existing business units for eg NHGD, NHGPh, NHGP and all the newly incorporated units)
- **Operationalising**:Understand the needs of stakeholders and manage their expectations to deliver the desired outcomes by:
Conduct due diligence, support the financial planning, and scope business units’ integration, administer and provide support to all the activities of NHG Cares.
Manage business units’ requests, manage partners’ expectations; devise seamless workflow and technical architectural requirements.
Provide operational leadership and guidance to the SAP Hana Cloud platform integration, co-lead the scrum team, orchestrate the MVPs on delivery of integration and all the build phase activities
Conduct regular reviews of the existing portfolios and technical landscape to identify the redundancy and operational inefficiency and to recommend and implement alternate solutions
Provide secretarial support to NHG Cares
- **Monitoring performance**:
Monitor the implementation progress in terms of its meeting of objectives, timelines, and budget.
Conduct regular reviews with the key stakeholders and improve operations outcomes
- **Evaluating and revising**:Evaluate and revise the model and processes in response to feedback and evaluation, to ensure continued effective and relevance.
- **Undertaking any other tasks **and duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
**Job Requirements**
Education/Experience
- Good bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Preferably with 3-5 years of relevant working experience in healthcare sector
- Experience in facilitating discussions on care transformation / change.
- Ability to function effectively as a change agent and lead change.
- Must possess strong administrative, budget management and project coordination skills.
- Strong written, analytical and communication skills.
