Our initiatives and projects are tailored to achieve our mission to **Educate, Empower, and Enhance**. Till date, we have incubated over 200 social entrepreneurs, produced a TV series called Changemakers, and organized the Global Social Innovators Forum (GSIF), a platform for social entrepreneurs and key leaders from the private, public and people sectors to share their innovative ideas and rich experiences on social entrepreneurship and innovation to a global audience and explore how social enterprise and innovation can create income and growth opportunities for all stakeholders.
**Role Introduction**
SIP is looking for an experienced and driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team with a focus on generating substantial financial and social impact. The core aspect this BDM role is taking a strategic approach to lead generation, to build meaningful partnerships across People, Private and Public (3Ps) Sector. This entails developing strategies for engaging collaborative prospects and crafting proposals to develop a healthy pipeline via the identification of organizations that employ innovative technologies and business models, and securing new partnerships that transform business’s ability to drive economic and societal impact.
The BDM shall promote SIP’s agenda to enhance, empower and educate changemakers to build a more inclusive, sustainable and mindful world, by bringing about technological focused social innovation through cross-sector and high impact collaborations with your contribution.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement strategy-based lead generation for the areas of community development and innovation and market development, focusing on value creation for the Tech for Good movement.
- Manage a methodologically directed pipeline to ensure steady revenue expansion while attaining positive social impact.
- Undertake thorough market research to stay up-to-date with technologytrends and identify emerging opportunities.
- Foster and manage new collaborations that serve to generate mutual economic and social benefit for stakeholders.
- Develop and sustain strong connections with pivotal stakeholders in the community, such as collaborators, clients, and industry leaders.
- Represent SIP at industry events and conferences to promote our Tech for Good movement and expand our network.
- Prepare prospect engagement strategies and proposals, negotiate agreements, and lead implementation.
- Source for and manage relevant grants.
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics to track progress towards goals, including social impact metrics.
**Preferred Requirements & Experience**
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
- At least 3-5 years of experience in Sales or Business Development; background in technology will be a bonus
- Excellent strategic and analytical acumen with an innovative and entrepreneurial mindset; a natural problem solver.
- Strong motivation, drive, energy and ambition to achieve revenue and social impact growth.
- Flexibility and adaptability, with strong inclination for driving growth through innovative thinking and collaborations.
- Exceptional ability to build strong relationships and networks with all stakeholders.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven track record of success in developing and executing business strategies that contribute to strong financial and social impact.
- In-depth comprehension of market research and analysis, with particular emphasis on opportunity identification.
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced setting and oversee multiple projects concurrently.
- Passion and interest in technologies and creating positive social impact.
Pay: From $3,800.00 per month
