**What the role is**

Lecturer / Diploma in Product & Industrial Design

**What you will be working on**
- Conduct lectures, tutorials, and student consultations, including supervising laboratory work and projects (research/collaboration/industry)
- Enhance the quality of lesson design and delivery (e.g. e-learning, self-directed learning etc.) through implementing appropriate teaching, learning strategies and methods
- Adopt the use of IT resources for facilitation (where applicable)
- Evaluate curriculum design, development, delivery and assessment to enhance its effectiveness
- Stay current and responsive to changing trends in the profession and educational landscape through active engagement with industry and professional bodies/communities
- Address the diverse learning needs of students in class and ways to develop students’ potential holistically through a range of interventions
- Track and maintain student attendance
- Develop and facilitate professional workshops and Continuing Education Training (CET) programmes
- Supervise students in projects, competitions and prototyping workshops
- Lead industry collaboration and actively participate in school projects, work committees

**What we are looking for**
- At least 4 years of work experience in the local/global user experience design and product design industry
- A strong portfolio showcasing the following:

- User experience research and design strategy
- Product drawing, visualization and 3D digital modelling skills
- Product design and development of local/global product labels and businesses
- Human centred design research and user experience design
- Prototype production and 3D printing processes
- Passionate in sharing knowledge and interaction with students
- Ability to work in teams, multitask, perform and deliver on time in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
