What the role is
This position is within the School of Business which offers the Diploma in Accountancy & Finance.
**What you will be working on**
- Conduct lessons and facilitate learning for both full-time diploma students and part-time adult learners
- Design and develop high quality curriculum and course materials
- Support the school’s strategic initiatives through participation in committee work, student developmental activities, events and/or competitions
- Develop and conduct customized workshops to adult learners
For Senior Lecturer, additional responsibilities may include:
- Lead academic programmes in relevant areas as identified by the School
- Lead the development, review and enhancement of current and new programmes
- Drive industry projects and manage a team of lecturers and students to ensure project goals are met and students’ learning is achieved
- Take on leadership committee roles
**What we are looking for**
- Academic training in Accounting or holders of professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, ICAEW and CIMA
- Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Have a passion for developing talents and enjoy working with youths and adult learners
- Skilled in using digital tools to enhance financial analysis and reporting
- Familiarity with Sustainable Reporting would be an advantage
- Proficient in at least 2 of the following areas: Advanced Accounting / Auditing / Taxation / Accounting Information Systems
