- Lead a team of software engineers in various locations to continue to build and maintain Choco Up’s platform
- Work in close partnership with the Product team and other business units in order to deliver on the product roadmap
- Practice key engineering leadership, to think strategically on scaling software engineering
- Ensure software development alignment with best practices
- Grow the engineering team by attracting and coaching talent on a continuous basis
- Establish engineering culture from a user-centric mentality, with business and customer success as key objectives
- Review latest technology, development methods, and software engineering trends
- Maintain a culture of creativity, empowerment and personal development within the engineering team
- Work closely with the leadership teams to plan and execute company’s roadmap and goals

**Qualifications and Requirements**
- At least 10 years of engineering management experience
- Experience in leading and scaling engineer teams of multiple product units/squads
- Engineering management experience in scaled technical product company
- Deep knowledge in cloud-based systems
- Experience working in globally distributed teams with highly structured and strong organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to provide clarity to all engineering personnel to ensure the team understand current priorities and roadmaps, as well as with management to articulate concepts and progress of delivery of strategic roadmaps
- Proven ability to attract, hire and retain world-class engineering talent
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with pragmatic operational delivery
- Ability to empower and develop people (managers, team leaders, and engineers)
