Singapore MHA - Singapore Police Force (SPF) Full time

**What the role is**
- The Home Team plays a critical role in Singapore’s Criminal Justice System with its mission to protect Singapore and to prevent, deter and detect crime. Police Intelligence Department and Operations Research under the Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) respectively are the two divisions responsible for providing intelligence analysis to support operations and investigations in SPF and CNB. As an Analyst, you play an integral role in crime fighting and prevention by providing timely and pertinent analysis about crime and drug crime patterns, trends and emerging threats. You will be responsible for collating and enriching information, assessing and researching on a range of data including crime activity and criminal/drug trafficker details, and producing actionable intelligence and reports to aid in decision-making. Specialised skills, including statistical and visualisation techniques, geospatial and criminal profiling, will be employed to connect the dots and draw links across the mass of information. In addition, strategic analysis is conducted via horizon scanning and sense-making to produce assessments on emerging trends and new threats to the law enforcement landscape. You will be placed on the Home Team Specialist Scheme in the Police Intelligence Department or Operations Research Unit in Central Narcotics Bureau.

**What you will be working on**
- As an Analyst, you will be responsible for the analysis of crime and drug crime information to produce an assessment to support law enforcement operations, investigation, policing strategy and policy formulation, which include timely intelligence reports and make presentations to management.
