**The position**:
Full spectrum of AR accounting functions and new project to be rolled out.

The following is a detailed, but not exhaustive, listing of the hands-on tasks you will undertake in the role:

- Prepare month end journal entries relating to sales rebate/collection discount accrual, provision for bad debt
- Preparation of customer receipting and perform monthly bank reconciliation
- Maintain Customer master data
- Entering Credit Notes
- Ensure payment & cheque are processed in a timely manner
- Follow-up on customer’s billings and payment status
- Arrange cheque collection, bank in cheques and prepare Statement of accounts for mailing
- Assist in preparing S45 withholding tax for submission to IRAS
- Assist in timely, accurate month-end closing activities for Account Receivables (ensure that AR control account ties between AX and SAP)
- Support AX System Enhancements for the Automation of Payment Discount and change in GST
- Support Treasury activities (liaise with Relationship Manager)
- Preparation of Credit limit review
- Preparation of monthly reports such as AR control, Sales and Doors for reporting purposes
- Preparation of Balance sheet schedules
- Support on audit and tax queries
- Any other duties assigned
- Diploma/Degree in Accounting and Finance
- 3 - 5 years of accounting experience in AR and GL
- Bilingual both in English & Mandarin
- Goal oriented and ability to multi-task
- Proficient in AX, SAP, Power BI, Excel
- Possess critical thinking/problem solving and able to work independently
- Ability to maintain good relationship with customers
