
Business Intelligence Executive

In your role as a business intelligence analyst, you play an essential part in the success of Air France KLM in South East Asia & Oceania, by contributing to the maximization of profit potential and growth opportunities.
Your reports, data analysis and role as a linking pin between local teams and central BI deliver high-quality input for our decision-making and identifying opportunities.
This role reports to the Regional Financial Controller and is functionally part of both the Finance and Commercial team
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
**Structured & Ad-hoc Reporting**:
- Coordinate with central BI for required modifications to meet regional and country needs
- Monthly and weekly extraction, analysis and reporting to stakeholders on KPIs (e.g. capacity, load factor, revenue, yield, traffic, forward bookings, issued sales, market share, sales channel performance, corporate and trade segmentation)
- Collecting market intelligence and macroeconomics for ad-hoc analysis
- Support to regional and country management in providing data, analysis & visualization for preparation of ad-hoc presentations and business cases
- Present key findings and developments in business review meetings
**Business Development**:
- Conduct analysis on regional and country level revenue developments, Corporate and Trade results, channel distribution, performance of promotions and campaigns launched in the region
- Evaluate company positioning while benchmarking competition product/network information
- Conduct Origin & Destination based studies to indicate the progression and regression
- Support with simulation and monitoring of trade incentive schemes
**Budget & Targets**:
- Support Regional Financial Controller & Regional Commercial Director in the preparation of revenue budgets and commercial cost budgets.
- Support and prepare in close coordination with the Regional Pricing Manager monthly revenue forecast
**Commercial Tools**:
- Point of entry for regional issues on BI tools and expert for company MI/BI tools and databases (e.g. Data Ware House, Atlas, QlikView, Business Objects, BI Portal, MIDT, contracting tools)
- Effective and tailor-made use of Business Objects to acquire information from Data Ware House that best supports the overall commercial objectives.
- Promote & explain BI products to internal stakeholders for optimal usage and self-service
**Management & Support**:
- Simplification and harmonization of reporting procedures
- Prioritize and manage workloads to meet deadlines
- Attend and conduct trainings on relevant reports and tools
**KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES**
**Knowledge and experience**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Analysis, Market research, Econometrics, Statistics, Business Administration or alike
- Minimum 1-2 years relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel, MS Access and MS PowerPoint
- Experience with one or more analytics & visualization tools (e.g. QlikView, PowerBI, Spotfire)
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Knowledge about the travel industry (Airlines / Travel Agents) is considered a plus
