Asia Device Finance Manager

Microsoft Asia is one of the 3 regions of Microsoft Commercial Business and covers 6 Areas: India, Greater China Region, Japan, APAC, Korea and ANZ (Australia & New Zealand) multi-country region. All 6 areas of Asia have been a key enabler of the market IT growth through solid partnership with Governments, Enterprise, small and medium as well as IT partners and consumer partners of the region. Asia Finance team has the responsibility to partner with sales and marketing teams and be a bridge between corporate functions and 6 Areas. Microsoft Finance is a truly global finance team, and you will be part of the WW community of FP&A and Commercial Directors Community to make each other great and build on each other.

This is a very exciting opportunity to drive Device business growth in Asia region, supporting the MCAPS Asia Regional VP and CFO and partnering closely with 6 Area teams to develop and deploy Business Plans. This role is part of the MCAPS Field Intelligence team and will have a significant impact in shaping our approach and strategy by amplifying the voice of Asia with Corp and helping land initiatives in Field. The role will be part of the WW Finance Community and will collaborate closely in addition to the Finance community with the Region Product Leaders, EG Finance Leads at Corp, and other product-aligned business leaders.

**Responsibilities**:
**Partnership**
- Partnering with the Asia/Asia Area Product leaders to drive cloud growth in each of the Asia Area through deep analytics forward and backwards looking.
- Understand competitive market insights, provide thought leadership to challenge Business leads around new business opportunities / growth road map landscape.
- Provide insights to the Area Finance Teams in a way that can be easily actioned. Leverage Corp models and analytics, provide insights and follow up with Areas in a digestible manner which can be easily leveraged.
- Take a lead role driving Device performance via providing insights and opportunities modelling, focus on customer adds as per scorecard.
- Increase premium mix, understand and drive upsell motions to higher profit products and help accelerate new product growth.
- Deal and pipeline insights.

**Processes**
- Accountable to perform device monthly close/outlook, quarterly forecasting & annual budgeting exercise for 6 Areas in Asia region.
- Accountable for finance content within Regional ROB (e.g. Quarterly Business reviews, Month End results, Forecast)
- Present at Asia LT meetings and Asia CFO meetings
- Ongoing assistance to the Asia CVP and CFO
- This role is part of Asia MCAPS FP&A team supporting Asia and RoB, ownership on selected RoB components

**People**
- Partner with the WW Community Lead to focus on the key insights and projects to accelerate our growth.
- Identify finance best practices and share them broadly within Asia and WW
- Connect the dots and help Field finance team land the Corp strategy or escalate issues and help needed.

This position involves a significant amount of exposure to executive and senior management and requires the ability to communicate ideas and analysis effectively, thereby influencing business decisions, so executive maturity, business acumen and presentation and communication skills need to be your strengths. In addition, this role is remote from the Core Field Intelligence Finance Team, and we need someone that can execute autonomously.

- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field AND demonstrable years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related
