**Responsibilities**:

- Actively work on computation/simulations to provide deep understanding of the electrochemical properties, including but not limited to ion adsorption/desorption and lattice diffusion, energy barriers, bandgap, density of states
- Management of lab and project issues, including equipment procurement, reimbursement, and other related paperwork
- Contribute mainly to the computation/simulations studies of the electrochemistry in the thermogalvanic cell
- Provide computation support to the research group on various electrochemical processes
- Develop proposals based on the results of this project for external grants
- Make regular progress report to Principal Investigator

**Job Requirements**
- Ph.D. Degree in either material sciences or physics from QS top100 universities
- Fast learner and excited to learn about other disciplines
- Demonstrated track-record of scientific productivity particularly on the topic of computation for electrochemical devices (including batteries and electrocatalysis)
- Able to conduct the computation independently without heavy training or supervision
- Good team player who is capable and willing to provide supports in a dynamic and interdisciplinary environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
