Airfreight Operation

AGI’s airfreight eCommerce team is looking for for an operation executive who is highly motivated and well organized with excellent writing and verbal communication and attention to detail to join the operation team.
Having a positive attitude, forwarding thinking mentality and being a strong team player is essential in accomplishing your daily duties and responsibilities.
You are to have a desire to learn and work hard and be able to adapt to a fast pace operational environment while working accurately to meet deadlines.
- Receive shipment pre-alert documents that are being api into the system.
- Check the shipment pre-alert documents for any discrepancies and detect those high value shipment that require custom permit declaration.
- Liaison with warehouse staffs and working vendors for all incoming shipment arrangement.
- Monitor incoming shipment status and report to all related stakeholders if there is any arrival delay or discrepancies upon arrival.
- Prepare all necessary documents for terminal, custom declaration and clearance for delivery to last mile vendors.
- Work with relevant authorities and partners to ensure smooth terminal, custom clearance and delivery to last mile vendors.
- Update shipment status and reporting.
- Check costing and issue billing
**Job Requirement**
- 1-2 years working experience with ecommerce environment / air-import background
- Able to handle multiple tasks and work under fast pace environment
- Able to work on weekends and Public Holidays (alternative).
- OT pay is given for working on Sunday and Public Holiday
- Chinese preferred as chinese communication needed.
- Must be proficient in MS Excel and IT savvy
- Work smart, detailed, meticulous and independent person with good communication skills.
- Able to start work immediately or within short notice
