Singapore Rakuten Asia Pte Ltd Full time

Data Science & AI Department, under the Tech Division, lead the transformation of Rakuten by the commercialization of Artificial Intelligence, Cognitive Computing, and Machine Intelligence Technologies for Rakuten businesses.

**Role & Responsibilities**
- Lead and manage a comprehensive AI business strategy and associated services planning in collaboration with sales team and product teams.
- Promotes use of new technologies and industry-leading trends to internal/ external clients
- Prepare and coordinate with various planners to prepare and develop entire AI Business’s short term and mid-long term business growth plan
- Analyze and monitor the business plan progress and always performance to meet the plan proactively
- Establish and report progress on each service business plan with planner
- Bridge between various stakeholders (i.e., Business Units, Finance team, Product team, HQ etc.)
- Conduct market’s research and competitor’s analysis in worldwide (especially in Japan market)
- Establish and maintain pricing of Rakuten’s AI services.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis and reporting to support immediate manager
- Manage internal / external stakeholders and engage in project management
- Responsible for its budgetary and financial control
- Selecting, recruiting, hiring, develop of members (If this has people manager role)
**Requirements**:

- More than 10 year demonstratable experience in strategic planning and business planning or entrepreneurial success in data and AI services such as those digital transformation, Adtech or Marketing Tech domain Master’s in Business Administration is a must have
- Fluency Japanese will be highly advantageous
- Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization, including senior executives
- Hands-on experience in strategy development, customer and market research, and financial modelling/ planning
- Strong passion for Data Science/AI adoption and being customer and data driven
- High-level understanding of big data systems and data analytics

**Salary**: Up to $13,000.00 per month
