DESIGNATION : Senior Manager, Strategic Operations
RESPONSIBILITIES
NTUC Health Co-operative Limited (NTUC Health) is an social enterprise that provides a comprehensive and integrated suite of quality and affordable health and eldercare services to meet the growing needs of families and their dependents. We want to make a difference in our community by continuously exploring and expanding our services. We are recruiting dynamic and capable individuals for our Active Ageing Centres.
The incumbent shall lead the strategic operations to drive operational excellence and innovation projects in the Active Ageing Centres. This includes working with Quality Management and Operations (Cluster Managers) in ensuring that all Active Ageing Centres are in compliance with all regulatory, licensing, safety and environmental requirements.
Additionally, this role is expected to work closely with both internal and external stakeholders and assist in strategizing inter-clusters/cross-agencies/disciplines collaborations.
- Conduct market research to support business objectives. Keep abreast of trends and changes in the eldercare industry to stay competitive and up to date with the centres' service offerings.
- Support HOD, in implementing new services, programmes, equipment, initiatives, and systems across all the AACs.
- Initiate innovation projects to help drive the transformation which includes process redesign and improvement effort to uplift the capability of AAC
- Plan, communicate and implement policies, as well as ensure procedures meet operational excellence. Responsible for guiding the cluster managers to ensure the overall consistent operation of the AACs.
- Manage and oversee the starting up and development of the Active Ageing Centres in collaboration with health authorities and agencies.
- Ensure close partnerships with the regional health system (RHS, healthcare cluster) and community partners
- Engage and ensure service delivery of contracted vendors and services providers to meet business and operational requirements.
- Ensure that adequate measures are taken to maintain and upkeep the centres and environment so as to protect the health and safety of all seniors and staff in the Active Ageing Centres.
- Timely reporting and analysis of Operations Management System KPIs.
- Other duties as assigned
- Involve in budget planning and work with other departments to monitor expenses allocated.
- Assist in the development of new Active Ageing Centres, such as acquiring equipment, as well as involve in costing and planning with the Head of Department.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Business Management or equivalent, preferably with degree in Gerontology
- Knowledge of LEAN/Six Sigma/AGILE/design thinking methodology preferred
- 5-8 years’ of relevant experience
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Practical knowledge of operations would be an advantage
- Good co-ordination, interpersonal skills
- Good communication skills
- Be outgoing and people-oriented
- Possess strong organisational and communication skills
- Team player, and able to motivate peers
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Excellent service mindset to serve the senior community
- Proficient with Google Workspace Suite
