**Responsibilities**
- Advise and provide legal counsel for M&A, Project Development, and Project Finance in APAC
- Lead, support and advise on the drafting, review and negotiation of contracts and agreements, including but not limited to: _Joint Ventures, Partnerships, Shareholder Agreements, EPC, O&M, PPAs, NDAs, Procurement, Land Agreements, Development Services, Term Sheets etc. _for renewable energy plants
- Actively support internal stakeholders on legal matters and provide training and support as needed
- Liaise with and draft legal analyses for internal governance such as board approvals and committee’s
- Provide legal counsel on day to day running of the business, on corporate and operational topics
- Develop, maintain and improve best-practice and provide support to senior management
- Work effectively with external counsel, as needed
**Skills**
- At least 5+ years’ experience of legal experience in transactional/development/M&A/project finance/corporate attorney in, specifically, renewable energy
- At least 7+ years’ total experience of legal experience
- International exposure with experience managing multiple jurisdictions and cross-border work flows
- Demonstrable experience in drafting legal contracts, reviewing contracts, drafting legal and negotiation processes, including in renewable energy sector
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage several challenging work assignments and capacity to work under pressure and tight timescales
- Strong experience in M&A and Business Development contractual schemes and negotiations
- Experience in Project Financing, PPAs and Construction and Maintenance Contracts
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
