[What the role is]

DEPUTY MANAGER (OPERATIONS, READINESS AND ASSURANCE)

[What you will be working on]

As the Public Vigilance, Education, and Training Officer, you will report to the Manager and be responsible for raising security awareness and emergency preparedness among stakeholders in the Public Transport domain. Your portfolio will include overseeing public education and training initiatives, conducting security risk assessments of commercial activities in the Public Transport domain, and involved in the conduct of compliance audits and exercises.

[What we are looking for]
- Teritiary qualification in any discipline
- At least 5 years of working experience, preferably in areas related to community engagement, operational readiness and/or security
- Familiarity with secretariat work and experience in preparing for inter-agency meetings
- Confidence in conducting training sessions in large group settings and delivering presentations
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and multitask in a dynamic environment
- Strong written communication and analytical skills
- Resourceful, self-motivated, and self-initiated
- Ability to work collaboratively with other stakeholders
