[What the role is]

DEPUTY DIRECTOR, EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS

[What you will be working on]

You will supervise a team of staff to develop and implement plans to ensure that LTA is suitably equipped and its staff well trained and ready to respond and manage any emergencies in the land transport sector. You will lead your team to work closely with stakeholders in LTA, its licensees and other government agencies to conceptualise, formulate and recommend policies on emergency preparedness, business continuity planning and crisis management. This includes COVID19-related response plans and operations to ensure the continuity of essential services in the Land Transport sector. You will also lead your team to plan and conduct audits/exercises to validate and improve the capabilities and coordination between LTA, its licensees and government agencies to cope with emergencies.

[What we are looking for]
- Tertiary qualification in any discipline
- At least 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years of experience in a management role
- Good critical thinking, analytical and planning skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to engage internal/external stakeholders and negotiate effectively
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changes
- Excellent leadership and managerial skills
