**About this role**
The role is part of a regional team, based in Singapore. The primary focus of the role is split across four core elements: To contribute to the development and support the execution of our Energy business strategies within Singapore and Indonesia and across the Southeast Asia region more broadly. To drive client engagement especially within the Singapore and Indonesia markets but also assisting energy teams and offices across the Southeast Asia region, building relationships with key local clients and proactively identifying new business opportunities to support the growth of the energy business within the state. To lead and input to a range of energy-related projects, with a hydrogen, renewable energy and urban energy. This will include small to large projects, providing project leadership and Project and Bid Director.

**What will I do?**
- Being Project Director of Energy related projects in Singapore, Indonesia and the wider Southeast Asia.
- Support the growth of the energy business in Singapore, Indonesia and the wider Southeast Asia region.
- Providing a vision for the development of the firm’s capabilities in energy and setting priorities for investment, research and other network activities.
- Establishment of strong client relationships that underpins the growth of the Arup brand and offering both within the Singapore, Indonesia and the wider Southeast Asia.
- Representing Arup at a high level at industry and client events a regionally and nationally while working in close collaboration with Business Leaders to secure pipeline and negotiate major contracts.
- Supporting the advancement of skills and knowledge sharing across the region, identifying and addressing what we need to do in order to become the leading professionals in energy.
- Supporting the delivery of a diversity of energy related projects mainly in Singapore and Indonesia but also in wider Southeast Asia jurisdictions. This will involve coordinating people and resources within tight timelines and in line with budgetary constraints.

**What will I bring?**
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in the development and execution of low carbon and renewable energy projects, with a strong technical background.
- Recognised relevant tertiary qualification with at least 15 years of experience in leading projects team in the energy sector.
- You will have a with a strong track record of delivering energy related projects within Southeast Asia (preferred) and other jurisdictions and sufficient experience and credibility to be able to influence the project development and funding decision making processes with key clients.
- Actively develops the knowledge, experience, and skills of self and others, including those in other groups/offices, and thinks systematically to deliver the optimum project outcomes for clients.
Membership of relevant professional institutions/professional peer bodies or significant credit towards eligibility for membership.
- Coordinates different people/facilities/resources within tight timelines and budgetary constraints to align with our client’s needs and expectations and team well-being.
- Ability to ensure healthy cash flow for own area of responsibility with Input into the overall business operating plan and pursues strategic marketing opportunities.
