Play Ventures is a leading early-stage gaming Venture Capital firm based in Singapore. We aim to be the best early-stage investor in game studios and game services startups around the world. We currently have US$300M+ AUM and are searching for a Finance Associate to join us in Singapore
You’ll have the opportunity to work in one of the most exciting VCs in the biggest and fastest-growing field in entertainment in the world.
**You will report to our Finance Manager and work with various partners (fund administrator, auditors, etc) to**:
- Review quarterly, annual financial reporting, capital calls, and other tasks
- Assist with other critical financial and administrative tasks including tax reporting, filing, invoicing, investment wires, and more
- Take the lead on necessary corporate actions such as annual filings, passing of board resolutions, together with our corporate secretary
- Be the key liaison with auditors on document requests and enquiries, and facilitate the annual audit for funds and the fund manager
- Help with any ad-hoc tasks that require his/her assistance
- A keen eye for numbers and attention to detail
- Strong organisational skill to excel in a dynamic environment
- Motivation to provide high quality work under pressure
- Desire and excitement to learn and grow in a fast-growing company
- Diploma or Degree in Accountancy (Minimum Diploma)
- 1-3 years experience working experience in Finance/Accounting
