**General Accountability**
Reporting directly to VP Sales, APAC, this role is responsible for driving new product sales and overseeing the development of Service & Solution (S&S) activities within the region. The role will play a key part in executing Manitou's strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with the global direction, and driving sales growth. The Sales Director will also collaborate closely with the S&S Manager to implement service strategies, manage dealer performance, and determine the optimal distribution structure—whether through direct Manitou entities or dealer networks. As a member of the regional management committee, the Sales Director will actively contribute to regional strategic projects such as market expansion and transformation initiatives.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Sales Strategy & Execution**:

- **Develop and implement the regional sales strategy**in alignment with Manitou’s overall vision.
- **Assess and optimize the sales in the area**, identifying key growth areas and implementing targeted improvements across market and product segments.
- **Establish and track clear KPIs**to drive sales performance and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- **Coordinate resources and structure the organization**to effectively support and execute the sales strategy.
- **Define the annual budgets and mid term plans**and ensure they are met

**Dealer & Distribution Network Management**:

- **Build and expand the distribution network**, which includes managing dealers, direct operations, and service partners across the sales area.
- **Enhance dealer performance**by offering tailored support, monitoring KPIs, and implementing incentive schemes to drive sales growth.
- Ensure all machines and drive systems meet **local compliance regulations**for the Southeast & North Asia markets.
- **Promote Service & Solution (S&S) sales**by working closely with the S&S Manager to implement and oversee relevant activities.

**Financial Management & Profitability**:

- Own the **P&L for the region**, driving profitability through margin management, pricing strategies, and cost control.
- Develop and monitor the regional **budget**, ensuring adherence to financial targets and implementing corrective actions when necessary to improve profitability.
- Actively monitor and adjust sales strategies to ensure ongoing profitability and sustainable growth.

**Team Leadership & Development**:

- **Lead and motivate a high-performance team**, fostering a culture of engagement, accountability, and development.
- Identify and nurture the **growth potential of team members**, providing mentoring and career development opportunities.

**Global Initiatives & Corporate Compliance**:

- Contribute to **global initiatives**within the Manitou Group, ensuring regional alignment and promoting best practices within the sales team and dealer network.
- Advocate the company’s **Vision, Mission, and Values**to both internal teams and external partners.
- Ensure adherence to **compliance and governance**guidelines, ensuring that all activities align with corporate policies and local regulations.

**Qualifications**:
**Education**:

- University degree in **Engineering**, **Business**, or a related field.

**Experience**:

- Minimum of **10 years of experience**in a senior management or executive sales role, preferably in a multinational environment and relevant industries.
- Proven ability to plan and manage at both the **strategic and operational levels**, delivering results in dynamic, complex markets.
- Strong background in **sales channel management**, including establishing and nurturing relationships with **dealers, customers**, and **partners**.
- Extensive experience managing **multicultural teams**and working in diverse cultural environments.
- Ability to manage **profit and loss (P&L)**, including sales, margins, and operating costs.
