We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a** Team Manager.**

**Principal Responsibilities**
- Design and implement strategic plans to achieve team performance targets and consistent building of sales pipeline
- Track target goals and reporting results to management as necessary
- Manage a team of personnel wealth planners (PWP) to maximize business performance, while sustainably growing the team and developing talent
- Identify and address performance gaps and provide performance updates
- Build and maintain a positive team culture. Work closely with PWP needs and requirements to transfer sales skills through regular coaching and team development
- Plan and execute recruitment activities to expand sales team, train and monitor financial consultants’ productivity to ensure profitability of unit
- Effectively leading and implementing change as an integral part of delivering the business strategy
- Ensure self and team activities comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements and meets HSBC standards and procedures, minimizing operational risk
- Support achievement of the HSBC vision, Values, goals and culture in personal and PWPs’ behaviours, actions as well as in decision making
- Take responsibility for helping the team understand and agree performance expectations, completing the necessary mandatory training and developing the levels of capability and competence needed to be effective in their respective role

Requirements

**Requirements**:

- 1-3 years of experience on team management
- Extensive wealth management and insurance product knowledge
- Possess effective time management skills and the ability to plan team deliverables
- The ability to see the big picture and leveraging resources to address challenges met by team members
- Strong coaching skills and business acumen with passion to nurture next generation of top performing advisors
- Willingness to be proactive and responsive
- Highly self-motivated and self-disciplined with the ability to work effectively and independently
- Proved to deliver and drive outstanding customer experience (ideally a financial planning experience) and building lasting customer relationships
- Good communicator - excellent listening skills and ability to explain complex information in a simple and concise manner
- Tertiary or university level education, preferably in finance, business or a related discipline
- CMFAS certifications or similar certifications (CFP, ChFC, AFC) will be an advantage
