Job description

**We are looking for a hardworking and experienced Bead Baker to support at our Central Kitchen to prepare a variety of bread. Do note that we are non-halal certified.**
- Prepare a wide variety of bread following the Company’s recipes.
- Bake different types of bread such as baguettes and multigrain according to the Company’s standard operating procedures (SOP) and standards.
- Adjust oven temperatures to ensure proper baking standards.
- Monitor stocks for baking ingredients such as flour, sugar, etc.
- Mix and shape the dough and prepare fillings for the preparation of different types of bread accordingly to recipes.
- Ability to follow Bread Baker chef’s instruction
- Adhere to all standards of food presentation, production, and portioning controls
- Answer, report, and follow Bread Baker chef’s instructions.
- Minimize the wastage and spoilage of ingredients and other food items
- Manage and maintain a set of standard quality, service, product, and cleanliness.

Requirement
- Diploma or Nitec/Professional certificate in Baking and Pastry Arts, or similar preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Baker, or similar.
- Familiarity with all kitchen equipment, including mixers, blenders, and dough sheeters.
- Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of food safety practices.
- Creative ability in decorating and filling confectionery.
- Great attention to detail and creativity.
- Working knowledge of baking with ingredient limitations (eg. sugarless, gluten-free, etc)
- Rotating shift including mid-night shift.
- Able to work on Saturday, Sunday, and Public Holiday.
