You will be a valued member in our award-winning Product team, responsible for creating products for consumers across over 60 countries. In this unique position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet all relevant regulatory and safety standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our products are safe, reliable, and compliant with industry regulations.
Our Product team is involved with all Secretlab's industry-leading designs, including collaborative efforts with world-renowned brands such as Game of Thrones, Batman, Cloud9, Team Secret, as well as international esports organisers such as Riot Games for their League of Legends global tournaments.
Responsibilities
Research and analysis of regional and international compliance requirements, including sustainability regulations and standards, to ensure comprehensive product compliance.
Ensure compliance with all sustainability law requirements, including timely and accurate data reporting and adherence to regulatory frameworks
Oversee the implementation of compliance strategies, integrating sustainability considerations into product development processes to meet environmental and social standards.
Collaborate with product development, engineering, and quality assurance teams to integrate compliance requirements and sustainability practices throughout the product life cycle.
Establish and maintain partnerships with suppliers and manufacturers, ensuring both processes and materials meet sustainability criteria
Develop and maintain compliance documentation related to sustainability, including product specifications, sustainability reports, and certification records
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability or a relevant field (e.g., biomedical sciences, engineering, product management etc.)
A minimum of 1-2 years of experience specifically handling sustainability requirements is preferred
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of sustainability standards and regulations is a plus but not mandatory.
Fluent in English & Mandarin (for the purpose of liaising with Mandarin speaking suppliers)
Ability to travel for business
Experience working within the furniture industry
High interest and familiarity with the esports and gaming industry
