As a Senior Conference Producer at IMAPAC, you'll assume a pivotal role in our B2B conference production process, leveraging your extensive experience to drive our events to unprecedented heights of success. You will lead a team and orchestrate the seamless execution of conferences that shape the future of the biopharmaceutical industry.
Key Responsibilities
Research important life science industry topics and keep up to date with industry trends to ensure streams of content are relevant to our audience.
Identify and recruit appropriate senior-level speakers through research, networking, and existing contacts to achieve your target requirements.
Identify and recruit high-quality industry figures who will be able to chair the conference and moderate panel discussions/roundtable discussions.
Support the marketing and contents teams to develop relationships and identify influential industry associations and other possible media partners.
Liaise with the sponsors regarding the speakers they are providing as part of their packages and ensure required quality of these speakers.
Manage speaker contact database, list management, and development with the support of the lead researcher team.
Proofread and make necessary amendments to conference programmes on all printed literature and online materials (conference brochures, post-event reports, etc.).
Manage speaker budgets, including speaker fees and expenses.
Requirements
3-5 years’ Conference Production experience or relevant transferable skills.
Willingness to travel internationally for conference execution.
Ability to write commercially attractive and industry accurate Conference Agenda.
Excellent networking and information gathering abilities as well as meticulous attention to detail.
Engaging, professional, and diplomatic demeanour.
Comfortable conducting regular phone calls and face-to-face meetings with C-suite executives.
Advanced negotiation skills and the ability to thrive under pressure.
Self-disciplined and able to work both independently and as part of a team adhering to time-sensitive deadlines.
Proficient at multi-tasking, working on more than one project at a time.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Passionate, dedicated, and knowledgeable about developing smart, profitable, and industry-leading conferences.
Resilient, with a strong desire to succeed.
