Join to apply for the Foundation IP Design Engineer role at Broadcom . We are seeking energetic and passionate design engineers to join our Central Engineering Group, contributing to the development of foundation IP for AI products, including memory compilers, logic cells, and custom macros on advanced process technology. Multiple positions are available at all experience levels. Job Responsibilities: Design and build memory or circuit blocks at the gate or transistor level. Simulate and analyze circuit designs using transistor-level simulators. Extract layout and perform post-layout simulations and verification. Floorplan physical implementation and layout integration of design components. Integrate characterization flow to extract timing and power information. Develop scripts to automate characterization, simulations, and verification processes. Specify and verify behavioral and physical memory models. Document design specifications, behavioral descriptions, and timing diagrams. Assist in specifying silicon test plans and correlating silicon data with simulations. Preferred Skills: Strong understanding of transistor-level circuit behavior and device physics. Knowledge of signal integrity, EM/IR analysis, and reliability assessment. Proficiency with simulators, scripting for automation, and tool usage. Familiarity with memory behavioral and physical models is advantageous. Experience in memory circuit design is a plus. Understanding of DFT schemes and chip-level integration is beneficial. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Motivated, self-driven, and capable of multitasking. Passion for solving complex problems and eagerness to learn. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering is required.
