If you already have a Candidate Account, please Sign-In before you apply.Job Description:Foundation IP Memory Verification Engineer We are looking for energetic and passionate design engineers to join our Central Engineering Group and be part of an elite team responsible for the development of foundation IP for AI products including memory compilers, logic cells and custom macros of all types on the bleeding edge of process technology. We have multiple positions at all experience levels. Available Job Responsibilities Contribute towards Memory Design Validation of all types of custom memory macros and memory compilersPerform functional verification, root cause design discrepancies, and help resolve themPerform signal integrity analysis, identify design weaknesses, and propose possible solutions to address themPerform transistor level simulations to check for any Power Up or Lock up issues and help resolve themPerform EM/IR analysis/simulations and evaluate impact on timing and internal marginsPerform transistor level simulations to validate timing and internal margins, identify timing characterization holes, and help resolve themPerform various QA and validation checks to ensure accurate timing and power modelsDevelop scripts to automate verification flow and data analysisSupport silicon debugs and correlation to spice modelsCollaborate with key memory designers to co-develop and improve the memory characterization and validation flowCoordinate with memory design leads, modelling leads, and managers to define and execute on the memory validation planPreferred Skills Good understanding of transistor level circuit behavior and device physicsGood understanding of signal integrity analysis, EM/IR analysis, and reliability analysisProficiency in running simulators, writing automation scripts, and are tools savvyUnderstanding of memory behavioral and physical models is a plusExpertise in memory circuit design is a plusUnderstanding of DFT schemes and chip level integration is a plusGood communication, interpersonal, and leadership skillsMotivated, self-driven and good at multi-taskingPassion for solving complex problems and willingness to learnQualificationsRequires a BS + 2 years experience in Electrical or Computer EngineeringBroadcom is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.  We will consider qualified applicants without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, citizenship, disability status, medical condition, pregnancy, protected veteran status or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local law.  We will also consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records consistent with local law.If you are located outside USA, please be sure to fill out a home address as this will be used for future correspondence.
