Housekeeping Coordinator Job Summary

This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in our hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Telephone Management : Answer all incoming telephone calls to the Housekeeping office in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Guest Requests : Coordinate and distribute guest requests, ensuring timely attention and resolution.
  • VIP Support : Manage early arrivals and VIPs' special requests, providing regular updates to Housekeeping Managers on room priority.
  • Inventory Control : Update daily records of additional credits, rollaway beds, and baby cots, as well as delivery charges.
  • Attendance Management : Record late or absent employees on designated attendance sheets.
  • Occupancy Monitoring : Continuously monitor occupancy status of guest rooms.
  • Lost and Found Coordination : Collaborate with the Security Department on Lost and Found matters.
  • Financial Management : Maintain accurate records of receivables into the department.
  • Workload Prioritization : Evaluate shift assignments and prioritize workloads accordingly.
  • Employee Management : Follow Housekeeping Manager's direction and call in employees as needed.
  • Logistics Management : Ensure timely delivery of letters and packages, maintaining regular records.

  • Attention to Detail : Maintaining accurate records and inventory control.
  • Organizational Skills : Managing multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Teamwork : Collaborating with Housekeeping Managers and other departments.
