Position Overview
The App Review team is looking for an App Review Board (ARB) Investigator to join the team. The position requires an individual who demonstrates a superb understanding of the App Review Guidelines, critical thinking, phenomenal problem-solving skills, and excellent written communication skills.
The ARB team is a critical part of the App Review process and gives developers an outlet to provide feedback, receive additional information about their app's review, and suggest changes to the guidelines. The ARB team investigates appeals across all of our guidelines and platforms. We then collaborate across App Review and other organizations to address developer concerns. Our primary objective is to provide an outstanding experience for developers through adaptable, detailed, and effective responses to developer appeals.
Responsibilities
Investigate appeals and provide feedback to developers.
Become an expert in understanding, supporting, and improving the App Review process.
Make decisions quickly in an ambiguous environment while under time constraints and pressure.
Communicate clearly and provide feedback to third-party developers.
Collaborate with team members and share suggestions on business improvements.
Work with Partnership Managers, App Store Business Managers, and Apple Legal on incoming appeal questions, guideline change suggestions, and complex issues involving regulatory compliance, fraud, and trust & safety.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of 2+ years work experience in App Review or similar experience is helpful.
Experience handling sensitive and confidential information with integrity, discretion, and utmost confidentiality.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Analytical mindset with an ability to break down complex problems.
Well-versed in customer service and conflict management.
Preferred Qualifications
Effective collaborator who will work cross-functionally across teams to present information effectively and influence decisions.
A passion for learning new things, using experiences to develop the best methodologies to support the developer community.
Ability to stay focused, prioritize, and handle a workload in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
Upbeat, adaptable, and results-oriented with a positive attitude.
