Senior Manager

What the role is: You will report to the Senior Assistant Director (Strategy & Plans) and play a crucial role in the planning and development of healthcare IT initiatives. These include national-level health data systems such as the National Electronic Health Record (NEHR), public-facing national digital health platforms such as HealthHub, and other streamlined systems for healthcare providers including web portals. You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time. What you will be working on: Develop and review policies to ensure alignment with the changing landscape, business needs and user expectations Drive planning and operational aspects to ensure successful implementation and ongoing management of projects Craft strategies to promote adoption of diverse healthcare IT initiatives and bolster governance through various levers (e.g. legislative, financial)Provide staffing and secretariat support for key forums where healthcare strategies and plans are discussed What we are looking for: Understanding of Singapore's healthcare system in the area of digital health, with the ability to identify gaps and recognise opportunities in the current landscape At least three (3) years of experience in policy development and implementation and/or roll-out of major IT projects Interest in digital health trends, opportunities and challenges Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to synthesise perspectives and considerations and develop cogent proposals Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders within the healthcare sector and across public service to understand priorities and business demands Results-oriented with a track record of delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment Resourceful and comfortable navigating ambiguity and change An ideal candidate should possess the following: Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to support the crafting of sound policy recommendations; ability to grasp timelines, operating context and ground realities Drive and curiosity to learn and apply new skills, knowledge and new ways of working Ability to prioritise and manage competing demands, with a high level of professionalism Ability to mobilise and rally partners and stakeholders towards a collective purpose As part of the shortlisting process for this role, candidates may be required to complete a medical declaration and/or undergo further assessment.
