Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Product Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in product engineering, technical support, and industrial best practices. They will be responsible for providing product technical support to production operations, advocating industrial engineering best practices, and working closely with a multi-functional team (MFT).

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage product definition files and configurations.
  • Stay actively engaged in IPT teams for product evolution.
  • Innovate, improve, implement, evaluate, and sustain engineering processes and capabilities.
  • Advocate engineering best practices supported by MFT and production for optimum operational efficiencies.
  • Focus on product cost reduction through design authority fees and internal technical competency improvement.
  • Liaise with Design Authorities and IPT teams for technical matters to support product performance and competitiveness.
  • Monitor and escalate support effectiveness to Production Line Managers. Ensure adequate support is given to operation's requests and production lines for product evolution qualification, capability setup, and relevant technical supports as required.
  • Lead and coordinate investigation findings and recommended corrective actions with MFT.
  • Establish and maintain KPIs to measure support performance and implement improvement action plans.

Requirements

  • Degree in Aerospace/Aeronautical/Electrical/Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in technical support functions.
  • Experience in the aviation industry is preferred.
  • Competence in interactive communication, problem-solving, and decision-making is required.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Good and fluent written and oral communication skills.
  • Able to work within tight timelines.
  • Conduct with professionalism, good interpersonal skills, and customer-focused approach.
