Key Position Summary
This is a high-profile role in our organization that involves overseeing daily cafeteria operations to ensure the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and customer service are maintained.
- Main Responsibilities:
- We are looking for someone with expertise in managing large-scale cafeteria or food service operations who can oversee daily activities ensuring exceptional standards in food quality, hygiene, and customer service. Key responsibilities include developing strategic plans to enhance food service offerings, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction as well as monitoring and optimizing inventory, procurement, and supplier relationships to control costs and ensure supply chain reliability.
- The ideal candidate will also lead, train, and mentor kitchen and service teams to deliver consistent high-quality meals and experiences while establishing KPIs, monitoring team performance, and driving continuous improvement. Additionally, they will foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professionalism within the team.
- This role requires effective management and reporting on the cafeteria's P&L, budgeting, and financial forecasting as well as identifying and implementing cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality. The individual will work closely with Finance and Procurement to ensure operational viability and sustainability.
- In terms of menu innovation, the successful candidate will collaborate with chefs and nutritionists to design balanced appealing menus that meet the needs of various customer profiles. They will also stay abreast of F&B trends to refresh offerings and enhance customer engagement and lead initiatives for sustainability such as waste reduction and eco-friendly packaging.
- To be considered for this position, candidates should have at least 3 years of experience, a proven track record in managing large-scale cafeteria or food service operations, excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, and familiarity with local food safety regulations and best practices.
