Job Title: Air Import Operations Executive

About the Role:

This position oversees inbound shipment instructions for seamless terminal clearance and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with vendors on shipment handling and delivery, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
  • Input and validate shipment data in the system based on received alerts, guaranteeing accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare all necessary documents prior to shipment arrival, streamlining the logistics process.
  • Manage permit declarations and coordinate delivery schedules with the cross-functional team.
  • Work with Freight Forwarders to ensure cargo clearance to our warehouse, adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain daily shipment logs and oversee delivery orders, enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Process and update Proof of Delivery (POD), informing the team and relevant systems.
  • Conduct document processing and cargo inspections at inbound terminals as required, maintaining quality control.
  • Assist in interdepartmental projects and fulfill additional duties assigned by the Air Freight Manager, supporting business growth.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
