System Administrator & Software Developer

This role involves working with the IT department to manage and maintain various systems, applications, and tools. Key responsibilities include monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions to improve overall efficiency.

Strong analytical skills are required to resolve complex problems and optimize system performance. Experience with Java, PL/SQL, and Linux operating environments is highly valued. Additionally, proficiency in automation tools and frameworks is necessary for scripting and deploying software changes.

A solid understanding of financial markets and trading applications, including Treasury, FX, Credit, IRD, Bonds, and RSF, is essential. The ideal candidate will also have experience with Confirmations, Settlements, Position Management, and Accounting systems.

Bonus points for prior exposure to capital markets applications and proficiency in object-oriented programming, especially Java (used in Calypso platforms).

  • Required Skills:
    • Proficient in Java, PL/SQL, and Linux operating environments.
    • Strong working knowledge of UNIX systems and database technologies (e.g., SQL, Oracle, Sybase, BigData).
    • Experience with automation tools and frameworks.
    • Skilled in scripting languages including Python, Shell, PowerShell, and SQL.
