We are hiring a Data Engineer to support the design, development, and maintenance of scalable data pipelines and data marts, enabling data-driven decision making across the organisation. You will join a core team responsible for building our data platform on Microsoft Azure and Snowflake, powering business intelligence and analytics across multiple domains.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
Build and optimize data marts to support BI tools and dashboards.
Ensure data quality, lineage, and performance in production workloads.
Collaborate closely with data analysts, architects, and platform engineers.
Contribute to data architecture discussions and best practices.
Must-Have Qualifications
3 to 5 years of experience in data engineering, preferably in mid to large-scale environments.
Proficient in Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, and Snowflake (or strong willingness to learn).
Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT design, and performance optimization.
Hands-on experience in building and maintaining production data pipelines.
Familiarity with version control, CI/CD, and agile development practices.
Nice-to-Have
Exposure to Singapore Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) or other government cloud environments.
Prior experience in a mature data platform team, operating under best practices (e.g., data contracts, monitoring, dev/test/prod pipelines).
Working knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance in regulated environments.
Experience integrating with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
