Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description

  • Industry/ Organization Type: Construction – Building Materials
  • Position Title: Senior Designer (Façade)
  • Working Location: Jurong West
  • Working Hours: 5.5 days (Monday-Friday: 9:00AM - 5:00PM, Saturday: 9:00AM – 1:00PM)
  • Salary Package: Up to $5000 + AWS
  • Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze architectural and structural drawings for tender preparation.
  • Create and coordinate concept, shop, and detailed drawings for review prior to submission.
  • Assist in quantity take-offs for project materials.
  • Coordinate on-site project activities from presentation to completion.
  • Represent the company professionally in meetings.
  • Maintain accurate records of all drawings.
  • Ensure timely compliance with project schedules.
  • Educate and train staff and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
  • Monitor site safety and health compliance.
  • Report any drawing discrepancies or site issues.
  • Evaluate subcontractor performance based on quality standards.
  • Participate in management meetings and implement directives.
  • Other ad-hoc duties which may be assigned.

  • Diploma or Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related fields.
  • At least 5 years of experience in façade design, cladding, curtain walling, and glazing.
  • Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and BIM.
  • Strong design and sketching skills.
