Procurement Engineer

As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the purchase of technical equipment for industrial operations. This involves collaborating with designers and site teams to determine the necessary equipment for projects, researching vendors, and ordering the required items.

The ideal candidate will possess high-level organizational skills to maintain a consistent flow of equipment to factories or worksites. Strong negotiation and influencing skills are also essential for negotiating purchasing agreements and hiring vendors for projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Negotiating purchase agreements with vendors and awarding contracts for equipment
  • Monitoring adjustments to equipment needed to maintain an optimum supply of equipment
  • Maintaining accurate records of procurement activities
  • Liaising with associates, clients, suppliers, and government authorities

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in the construction sector
  • Good communication skills
