Senior Project Coordinator

Job Summary:

  • We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Coordinator to oversee the implementation of our business strategy, ensuring successful execution and delivery.
  • Responsibilities include monitoring programme reporting, assisting teams in reporting to senior management and stakeholders, and establishing frameworks for programme and project management.
  • Additionally, you will manage and compile programme related financial and KPI information, oversee project costs, and ensure finances are well managed.
  • The role also involves providing capacity planning and resource tracking services across the programme, as well as coordinating project closure to distil good practice and ensure lessons learned are logged.
  • You will be responsible for defining and embedding project control and governance, providing project planning, milestone management, scope management, and resource forecasting.

Requirements:

  • A proven track record of planning, executing, controlling, and closing projects with teams of 5 to 25 people is essential.
  • Experience in project management using Agile methodology (or equivalent) for medium to large-sized projects is required.
  • Strong skills in creating and maintaining project and programme plans, including risks, actions, issues, and dependencies, are necessary.
  • Highly efficient resource planning and task assignment skills are also required.
  • Knowledge of benefits and dependency mapping, risk management, and resource planning is beneficial.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills for reports and presentations are a must.
  • Diplomatic ability to influence others at all levels of the business is crucial.
  • Ability to competently mediate disagreements and negotiate agreeable resolutions is essential.
  • Experience in Programme and project-level financial management and defining and delivering benefits realisation for projects and programmes is desirable.
