Business Partner Solutions Sales Manager HCLSoftware is seeking a highly strategic and technically capable Business Partner Solutions Sales Manager to support our rapidly growing partner ecosystem across the (ASEAN / APJ) region. Role Summary: This dual-facing role requires both technical depth and business acumen—driving technical sales conversations with customers and co‐developing aligned solution offerings with partners. Key Responsibilities Customer Architecture Engagement Understand the end‐to‐end IT architecture of enterprise customers, including security, operations, automation, DevOps, data, and experience layers. Identify opportunities to position HCLSoftware offerings—such as BigFix, AppScan, HCL Workload Automation, Unica, Domino, and Volt MX—within customer environments. Support technical pre‐sales activities: solution discovery, whiteboarding, demonstrations, proposal reviews, and technical value articulation. Engage with Value‐Added Distributors, Managed Service Providers, and System Integrators to understand their strategic service offerings and solution roadmaps. Map HCLSoftware capabilities into partner‐led offerings, co‐develop joint GTM plays, and align for solution co‐creation or managed service delivery. Support the listing and positioning of joint solutions in marketplaces (e.g., AWS, Azure) via Distributor Seller of Record (DSOR) models. Partner Technical Enablement Deliver hands‐on technical enablement sessions, certification programs (including Practitioner and Pearson Vue tracks), and pre‐sales tooling guidance. Adapt enablement materials for local markets including language support (e.g., Japanese, Mandarin, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese). Serve as the go‐to advisor for partner technical teams across the region for solution design, integration architecture, and competitive positioning. Opportunity Acceleration & GTM Support Drive technical credibility and confidence in partner‐led sales motions across BFSI, Public Sector, and Enterprise accounts. Support RFP/RFI responses, compliance architecture documentation, and PoC guidance in collaboration with partner technical teams. Participate in key industry or partner events to evangelize HCLSoftware solution fit and value. Success Metrics Mastery of partner‐led sales motions embedding HCLSoftware solutions into customer IT architecture design discussions. Creation, certification, and marketplace listing of joint solution offerings. Consistent partner technical enablement and opportunity generation. Increased HCLSoftware wins across complex enterprise and public sector opportunities through partner collaboration. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field. 8+ years of experience in technical pre‐sales, solution architecture, or partner solutions roles in enterprise software. Proven experience working with or for channel partners—particularly VADs, MSPs, or GSIs—in a technical or business solutions capacity. Strong customer engagement and communication skills; able to simplify complex architecture concepts for business and technical audiences alike. Preferred Skills Familiarity with HCLSoftware products or similar enterprise software solutions. Endpoint & IT Operations: Tanium, BigFix, Ivanti, BMC. DevSecOps & Platform Solutions: IBM, Broadcom. Low‐Code / Digital Experience Platforms: OutSystems, Mendix. Experience mapping solutions into regulated industries such as BFSI and Government. Knowledge of hybrid IT architectures, cloud‐native technologies, DevSecOps, and zero trust security principles. Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) preferred. Multilingual ability (especially in Japanese, Mandarin, Korean, Thai, or Vietnamese) is an advantage.
