About Us

At The Peranakan Group, food is more than just a meal — it is heritage, community, and connection. From classic dishes like Laksa and Ayam Buah Keluak to festive Tok Panjang feasts, we celebrate the richness of Peranakan culture through authentic cuisine and heartfelt service.

We are expanding our team and looking for passionate individuals to join us as Service & Cuisine Preparation Staff, where you'll play an important role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing traditional Peranakan dishes, including kueh, sambal, curries, and daily specials.
  • Support chefs with ingredient preparation (chopping, marinating, plating, etc.).
  • Provide excellent customer service in both dine-in and takeaway settings.
  • Uphold food safety and hygiene standards in line with SFA requirements.
  • Assist with festive events and Tok Panjang banquets.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen and service areas.

Requirements

  • Interest in Peranakan cuisine and culture (training will be provided).
  • Basic kitchen or F&B service experience preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while paying attention to detail.
  • Team player with a positive, service-oriented attitude.
  • Flexibility to work on weekends and public holidays.
