As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, requests for quotation, bookings, and coordination. This includes creating bookings in our proprietary freight forwarding system and coordinating with carriers, depots, trucking companies, insurance providers, and customs clearance experts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle full sets of import and export shipments and shipping documents such as Bills of Lading, Delivery Orders, Permit Declarations, Notice of Arrivals, etc.
- Promptly respond to and maintain close communication with vendors, customers, carriers, and overseas agents.
- Offer solutions to clients for shipment or space optimization.
- A minimum of 2 years of working experience in freight forwarding is required.
- A general diploma in Freight Forwarding/Logistics is preferred, but candidates without this qualification who have multiple years of proven relevant track records will also be considered.
- Working knowledge of import and export processes is essential.
