Responsibilities
1. SAP Payroll Configuration & Maintenance: Configure and maintain SAP HCM Payroll for Singapore, including wage types, schemas, PCRs, features, and rules. Ensure seamless integration between Time, Payroll, and Finance modules. Manage payroll control records, posting runs, and off-cycle payroll processes.

  • Payroll Processing & Support: Lead end-to-end payroll runs (live and simulation) ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with MOM, CPF Board, IRAS, and other statutory bodies. Manage retroactive accounting, arrears, and adjustments. Handle complex payroll scenarios such as terminations, long-term absences, bonuses, and allowances.
  • Statutory Compliance: Ensure payroll processes fully comply with Singapore statutory requirements (CPF, SDL, CDAC, MBMF, SINDA, IRAS Auto-Inclusion Scheme, NS Claims, etc.). Stay updated on legislative changes and update SAP configuration accordingly.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Prepare and execute Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Validate payroll simulation results, identify anomalies, and resolve discrepancies. Support year-end payroll activities, including IR8A, IR8S, Appendix 8A/8B, and AIS submission.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Advisory: Partner with HR, Finance, and IT teams to understand requirements and deliver payroll solutions. Provide subject matter expertise (SME) on payroll processes, system enhancements, and best practices. Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll-related queries, incidents, and change requests.
  • Documentation & Training: Develop functional specifications, configuration documentation, and payroll process SOPs. Conduct training sessions for HR and payroll teams on SAP payroll operations.

Required Skills & Experience
Technical Skills
Minimum 4 years' experience in SAP HCM Payroll with at least 1 full-cycle implementation of Singapore Payroll.
Strong hands-on expertise in payroll schemas, PCRs, wage type configuration, off-cycle payroll, and retro calculations.
Knowledge of SAP Time Management and integration with Payroll preferred.
Experience with payroll posting to Finance (FI/CO).
Familiarity with Payroll Control Center (PCC) is an advantage.
Functional Knowledge
In-depth knowledge of Singapore payroll statutory requirements and reporting.
Strong understanding of HR processes (hire-to-retire) and their payroll impact.
Experience in payroll data migration and cutover activities.
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy in payroll processing.
