Business Development Associate
In this key role, you will serve as the main point of contact between clients and internal teams to optimize order management. Your primary objective will be to build and maintain strong business relationships with existing customers.
This position requires day-to-day coordination of all aspects of client's business requirements to ensure consistent service levels are delivered. This includes providing customer service support by corresponding with clients on order information, status, quotations, shipping, and other inquiries. You will also advise clients on delivery schedules and inventory availability. Following up closely is crucial to ensure resolution of all problems and issues from clients.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to meet clients' operational requirements and manage client expectations. Additionally, you will initiate continuous process improvements and provide business reports to management and clients on a weekly/monthly basis. Participating in demand planning with clients as necessary is also an essential part of this role.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum Diploma in Business or equivalent. Experience in order management or customer service is required, while experience in supply chain, logistics, and manufacturing is preferred. Strong time management and interpersonal relationship skills are essential for success in this role, as well as analytical and problem-solving skills with good negotiation abilities. Good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with large datasets accurately are also critical. Finally, being a strong team player with the ability to multitask and take ownership of tasks is vital.
