RESPONSIBILITIES
Director / Deputy Director (Children and Youth Services)
Overall Goal
:
To provide leadership in directing the programmes and services; and developing the people of the Service Group providing ‘Children and Youth Services' (CYS).
Job Description
This is a Senior Management And Organization Leadership position. As Director (Children and Youth Services), you will be responsible for the development and implementation of operational strategies to ensure efficient and effective delivery of programmes and services by the Service Group providing ‘Children and Youth Services' (CYS).
You will work closely with the CEO as part of the Senior Management Team (SMT) to translate Care Corner's aspirations and goals into a set of strategic initiatives, and support the implementation of these initiatives within the Service Group.
You will manage the financial and manpower resources to ensure optimal usage, and help build the talent pipeline for the organization as a whole. You will work with your Service Group leaders to identify capability gaps and support professional development of staff. You will help build and leverage on community networks to encourage social service integration.
This is a senior-level position that reports to the Chief Executive Officer, and you will be overall responsible for the teams in our children and youth work.
Key Result Areas
Strategic Initiatives
Lead the review and development of strategic priorities and plans for the Service Group, in consultation with CEO and fellow members of the Senior Management Team.
Oversee the development of relevant practice and competency frameworks, service standards, performance indicators and operating guidelines.
Oversee the evaluation of the services and practices provided by the Service Group and identify areas of development
Oversee the review and development of programme and center-specific plans and targets to ensure that the Service Group can accomplish its objectives in alignment with Care Corner's vision and mission
Lead change management efforts so that the Service Group can accomplish its objectives in alignment with Care Corner's vision and mission
Ensure overall compliance with governance guidelines and regulations
Operational Efficiency and Resource Management
Lead efforts to ensure that the operation of the Service Group runs efficiently and effectively while taking into
