This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic sourcing company as (Senior) Merchandiser for Toys. Reporting to a Sourcing Manager, you will partner with suppliers, manage product development and operations, negotiate terms, ensure timely deliveries, and drive success in U.S. retail categories. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Identify and collaborate with suppliers to develop products that meet procurement team specifications and objectives, focusing on and sporting goods. Oversee daily operations including supplier management, product advancement, pricing evaluations, prototype approvals, and order tracking to ensure on-time execution. Negotiate trade terms, establish vendor partnerships, manage critical project timelines, and monitor performance metrics through KPIs. Communicate routinely with buyers and suppliers to align on schedules and resolve issues, while coordinating with quality assurance, logistics, and packaging teams. Foster strong vendor relationships and drive supply chain efficiency to deliver programs successfully in a dynamic environment. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree holder with 3-5 years of relevant experience. Relevant experience in toys; candidates with sporting goods experience are also welcomed. Experience in U.S. retail/sourcing is a must. Understanding of manufacturing in China, SEA, India, Pakistan, and U.S. regulatory standards is preferred.
