A fast growing Algorithmic Trading firm operating across all major financial markets and exchange is seeking a Head of Business Development to spearhead growth initiatives and present business opportunities to expand their Digital Assets trading business across multiple regions
What You'll Work On
- Research, identify, and evaluate new business opportunities in global Crypto currency markets to support the firm’s trading growth objectives.
- Bring in new teams/individuals which fits in with our quantitative approach to the global markets with superior returns.
- Develop and execute market entry and business strategies for trading desks, in close collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with exchanges, prime brokers, regulators and other market participants.
- Provide strategic insights into exchange membership, trading, clearing & settlement, and investor services to optimize operational readiness.
- Lead and oversee the setup, onboarding, and smooth launch of new trading desks.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive developments to proactively adapt strategies and identify emerging opportunities.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment between business development initiatives and the firm’s broader goals.
What We\'re Looking For
- Atleast 5+ years of experience in an exchange-facing or business-development role at a brokerage or trading firm within the Crypto or Digital assets space
- Ideal candidate will have either Crypto trading experience or understanding of quantitative trading.
- Deep understanding of Global markets, with a solid grasp of the complexities, regulations, and cultural nuances around Digital assets.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to influence and engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Exceptional organizational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive mindset who can translate ideas to actionable initiatives.
- Entrepreneurial attitude with ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
