About the team
The SME & Growth Business team at Airwallex is a passionate group of collaborators and business champions dedicated to empowering small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to thrive in the global economy. We combine deep financial expertise with a growth mindset, working closely with our clients to understand their unique needs and develop tailored solutions that streamline cross-border payments and unlock new revenue streams. What you’ll do
The Channel Partnerships team in Singapore is responsible for expanding Airwallex’s partner relationships across South East Asia and South Asia, specifically across three core industries: Start-ups, Ecommerce and Corporate Service Providers. Airwallex’s partner relationships drive brand awareness, customer acquisition as well as various forms of product integrations and co-marketing opportunities. We are seeking a Channel Partnerships Manager to drive the expansion of Airwallex into new regional markets.
This role is based in Singapore.
Responsibilities:
Acquire and manage relationships with channel partners and strategic ambassadors who will enable Airwallex's new market expansion, particularly within the e-commerce, startup and corporate service provider space.
Manage all processes for acquiring and managing Airwallex partnerships (prospecting, meetings, contracting, integration (if required), onboarding and ongoing management/activation).
Overachieve your revenue targets through referrals from your partnerships. Coordinate with cross-functional teams within Airwallex, including legal, strategy, operations and finance where required to unlock new partner segments/markets and deliver a seamless experience for our partners.
Maintain ongoing engagement with partners to build towards long-lasting, win-win relationships.
Contribute ideas and drive initiatives on how Airwallex can develop a market-leading GTM strategy via partnerships.
Who you are
We're looking for people who meet the minimum qualifications for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory.
Minimum qualifications:
3+ years’ experience in partnership, sales, marketing, business development or GTM strategy.
Experience in negotiation and partnership proposal development preferred.
Experience in strategy/ops or working in tech or a fast-growing start-up would be advantageous.
Existing relationships/strong network with referral partners in technology, e-commerce, start-ups, or corporate service providers preferred.
Excellent written, verbal and in-person communication skills (English & Vietnamese).
Strong analytical skills with experience with tools including Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience working in a fast-paced start-up payments company would be highly beneficial.
