Data Migration Lead

About the Role:
As the leader of the project, you will be responsible for the data migration and data analysis. You will look after the team members under you and be responsible for the quality of the deliverables. You will take the initiative in communicating with the relevant people and leading the team. In some cases, you will take the initiative in coming up with ideas on how to manage matters related to your project, even if they are not related to data migration or data analysis.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the full data migration lifecycle across multiple business units and technical teams
Coordinate with BAs, DAs, IT, and business users across all branches to ensure alignment on migration activities
Establish and enforce a robust data migration framework and ensure alignment with the Target Operating Model (TOM)
Define and roll out tools and templates for use across the data migration team
Create and manage a clear reporting framework for tracking migration status and risks
Provide visibility and transparency through effective communication and risk assessment
Lead the data migration governance framework and ensure critical migration decisions are reviewed and approved appropriately
Take initiative in resolving challenges that may not be directly related to data but impact the project
Report regularly to the overall Project Manager and Project Steering Committee
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in any field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Service Management (ITSM), covering the full project lifecycle.
Minimum 5 years of experience in business requirement gathering and definition, project management experience, with a proven record of team leadership and banking industry experience, with understanding of core banking products (Deposits, Loans, Remittance, Trade, Treasury, etc.)
Minimum 1 year of experience in data analysis.
Strong documentation and presentation skills using PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
Solid understanding of ITSM frameworks, such as ITIL.
Proficiency in Chinese or Japanese language are preferred to liaise with stakeholders.
Experience in managing multicultural and cross-functional teams, strong client engagement and communication skills are a plus.
