**Your Role**:
As a Data Migration Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and managing data migration projects from a variety of platforms, both on-premises and in the cloud, to ensure the successful transfer of data across systems. You will leverage your expertise in database management, cloud platforms, and ETL tools to design and implement robust migration strategies.
- Lead end-to-end data migration projects from legacy systems to modern data storage platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, design data models, and execute migration plans.
- Develop and optimize ETL processes using tools such as Informatica, Talend, Apache NiFi, Microsoft SSIS, and Pentaho.
- Create and maintain complex SQL queries and scripts to support data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) activities.
- Oversee cloud-based data migration to platforms such as Snowflake, Azure, AWS, Databricks, and GCP.
- Ensure data integrity and security throughout the migration process, addressing issues related to data quality and validation.
- Perform database tuning and performance optimization to ensure seamless migration and mínimal downtime.

**Your Skills and Experience**:

- Prior experience leading data migration projects across different platforms and environments.
- Familiarity with data governance, compliance, and security practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and deliver quality results.
- Bachelor's degree in data science, Analytics, Business, or related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
