Reporting directly to the SCCA Executive Director (ED), this is a leadership position focused on promoting SCCA's flagship programs, including the APAC Legal Congress, supporting SCCA's chapters, driving the growth and retention of the SCCA membership base and such other tasks and responsibilities as ED may direct from time to time. Key Responsibilities: Membership Growth & Retention: Develop and implement strategies to grow and retain SCCA's membership base, ensuring membership offerings are competitive and meet the evolving needs of in-house counsel. Regularly analyze membership data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for increased member engagement. Design and promote member-exclusive benefits, services, and networking opportunities to enhance the overall value proposition of SCCA membership. Lead outreach and recruitment efforts to expand SCCA's reach within the legal community, including both corporate and individual members. Event Management & Promotion: Lead the planning, organization, and execution of SCCA's flagship events, including the APAC Legal Congress and other signature and recurring events. Develop and manage event budgets, timelines, and sponsorship plans to ensure the success and sustainability of these initiatives. Collaborate with internal teams, sponsors, and external vendors to ensure high-quality event experiences that align with SCCA's mission and objectives. Promote events through effective marketing and communication strategies, ensuring strong member participation and visibility within the legal community. Chapter Initiatives & Support: Provide strategic and operational support to SCCA's chapters, ensuring alignment with the organization's broader goals and objectives. Work closely with chapter leaders to develop and implement chapter-specific programs and events that cater to the unique needs of their members. Ensure chapters have access to resources, tools, and support necessary for effective operation and member engagement. Community Building & Engagement: Foster a sense of community among SCCA members by creating meaningful opportunities for interaction, knowledge-sharing, and collaboration. Design and manage member engagement programs, such as mentorship, peer-learning, and networking initiatives, to strengthen the in-house counsel community in Singapore.
