Overview

Role: Analyst or Medical Writer based in Singapore, working with the Asia-Pacific team and collaborating with colleagues in the UK and US. This is an entry-level role or one for those with some experience, with opportunities to progress within Costello Medical.

Responsibilities

  • Based in the Evidence Development team, contribute to the collection, analysis and creative presentation of clinical, economic and real-world evidence. Contribute to projects in Japan and support work with the Value and Access team (e.g., health technology assessment submissions) and with the Medical Communications team, delivering high-quality evidence and insights for a diverse client base.
  • Support projects across a range of clients including pharmaceutical and medical technology companies, patient and public health organisations, and charitable foundations.
  • Collaborate with cross-divisional teams as business needs require and manage multiple projects across different disease areas.

Qualifications

  • A degree level or higher qualification in a scientific discipline (diverse specialisms welcomed).
  • Exceptional written and spoken fluency in Japanese (native-level) and English to deliver client work across Asia, with a focus on Japan.
  • Strong ability to communicate scientific materials clearly in writing and speech; excellent understanding of scientific concepts; strong attention to detail.
  • Experience in scientific writing or related activities (e.g., dissertations, reports, publications) is desirable; not strictly required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; strong organisational skills and ability to manage time and deadlines.
  • Previous experience in this sector or Japanese healthcare is desirable but not required; genuine interest in healthcare and willingness to learn.
